The first question we asked was whether the person actually watched movies. If they didn’t then the information for the rest of the questionnaire would have been useless. Lucky 100% said yes they did watch movies.
The next question we asked was ‘what makes you continue watching?’ The most common answers were if it if was good, or an interesting start. This tells us that we need to have a good beginning to the movie so we can get the audience to ‘into’ the movie. Other answer were ‘a good plot’, ‘hot actors’, and if the movie got a big buzz about it. All these help us by telling us what can make our movie so people will go and watch it.
The last question we asked was ‘what would grab you attention in the opening of a movie?’ For this question, we got sort of the same answers; they all liked it when something big happened at the beginning of the movie like; death, explosions, crazy people and something unexpected. Other answers were a good sound track and some good acting. This tells us that the opening of our movie needs to be eye-catching.
